THE WOLF was a long time in the making, it came about from Todd Prestige and myself talking about him surfing shorter boards in small waves, but then that board being adaptable enough to cross over into everyday waves. Todd’s a taller guy so it was important to him that the board had enough drive to hold through his rail turns and enough shape to fit in tight sections, that’s why we’ve combined a few different boards together. The WOLF has a flat rocker with small flip at both ends of the board similar to the TWIST without so much tail rocker, a round pin tail outline from one of my gun outline’s shrunk down, shirking it makes it wider but still allows it to hold the aspects that give a gun it’s hold and drive from there outlines. And the front half of the outline is an adjusted CD6 outline (small wave contest board from 2009), so when you lean forward you have some width to carry you over flat sections, this also gives the WOLF it’s shape and helps it fit into small waves. Ride it a few inches shorter and a bit wider. Also available as a 5 fin set up.
