SPACE BISCUIT

• Wild outline

This board comes from the very first factory I worked at when I was 17. There was a guy there (Vance Gordon) who did all the ding repairs, sanding, sprays etc etc.
A guy came in one day with a snapped mal he just wanted to be thrown away. Vance took one look at it and said he had an idea, so he got to work with a sander and turned the snapped mal into something that looked like a boogie board crossed with the tail half of a mal… and the SPACE BISCUIT was born. He used to spin people out when he rode it, mainly because it looked like he was paddling around on a boogie board, but then he’d stand up and tear. For a long time now I’ve been meaning to re-make this board with a few modern tweaks and here it is, the SPACE BISCUIT. My version of a board that was made from someone else’s junk, a fun board to be ridden way shorter and way wider. Made for those days when it’s not really surfable, but don’t be fooled by it’s appearance this is a real board.
