The S4 is an all rounder. Everything about this board is easy, from the outline to the rocker, to the way it surfs. This year I have slightly straightened the tail outline, but this is the only change to the 2011 S4. It can be ridden 1 inch shorter and a bit wider and will suit most conditions from waist to over-head high. The S4 will suit all styles and levels of surfing. The S4 is my go to board. If I’m making someone a short board for the first time, this is the board I would make them. Unlike the other short boards in my range the S4 holds it’s foam all the way out to the rails and through the stringer line.
